Char Stats

just posing a question.. we can use the elevated stat count 16 16 16 10 10 10 or we can use the traditional baseline stat arrays.

16,14,14,11,10,10

18,14,11,10,10,08

16,16,12,11,11,08

Why use any of the above you might ask? well your character will be "legal" for use elsewhere conventions, local comic store games, ect, ect. And our games count towards points for swag if u register your char.

Personally i don't care which one you all pick, they both have pros and cons.

Higher Stats

Pros- More hits, more damage, more kills, more mayhem. Higher level Baddies, Higher XP, Greater Treasure, and a Higher chance of the DM owning your character sheet.

Cons- Not Legal, Stuck in our campaign.


Legal Stats

Pros- Meets RPGA specs, can travel to sanctioned events (including your local comic store), register for swag.

Cons- Slower Advancement, Treasure ect

I say take the better stats BUT I only plan on playing our campaigns.. If majority wants base stats I'm cool with that

I'm fine with legal stats, that way there's the option to play in official environments if anyone wants. My preference would be the 18,14,11,10,10,8 set

I prefer legal stats as well. Legal stats are pretty generous now as opposed to the random rolls. I actually like the 16, 15, 14, 13, 12, 11 stats.

That being said if everyone is set on these being campaign only charachters then why not go all out ~_^

Personally i dont have time to attend official events and whatnot's so legality isnt an issue for me, its just about the fun of it and why slay simple orcs and golbins when u can slay Demi Gods and Draco-Liches!
